a little bit tropical

Had to  make a birthday card for someone who likes parrots!

found this a bit difficult to think of what to do really, so went to trusty old greeting card factory for an image
teamed this up with paper from bo bunny, really hurt to cut into this as its double sided and I just love the colour and texture of it - but am trying to get out of my addiction for beautiful paper!

decided on an easel as I havent done one of these for ages and just added some ribbon from stash and green card and buttons, used some red thread on buttons just because I thought it was a bit too 'green'

phew.....

not bad for 1 little card, even if I did use one of my fave papers!!

    Like the bird card. Especially like the one bird in bottom right corner that looks like a Parakeet. Had a Parakeet when I was younger named Perry for Perry Como. Thanks for entering the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge "Animal Critter" theme.
