ring a ring a roses

have been making some more brooches!
really love these, so therapeutic to make, cut out on sizzix machine with very thick felt - so difficult to get hold of!!!

I actually have used the hot glue gun to hold these instead of sewing this time, then sewed the pin to the back and glued onto a leaf from the thick felt (think its almost a cm thick this one!

challenges

  1. These are beautiful brooches. I am struggling to get felt that will cut with my dies. But I will keep persevering if I can get as lovely results as you. Thank you for sharing at Crafty Cardmakers!! Cxx

    1. Hi Paula - thanks for taking the time to pop to my blog. Think all the things you mentioned are the reasons felt's not working for me. Have been trying with my Spellbinders - was sure I'd heard somewhere it would work. I was probably totally dreaming it!! Anyway, thanks for the tips. Cxx

  3. Wow what beauties love these gorgeous broaches. I use felt quite a lot with my cards and find that I can use Spellbinders for the thin stuff but for the thicker you really have to use the sizzix bigs . Anyway these beautiful and just perfect for our challenge at Crafty Cardmakers. Thank you for sharing.
