Maybe you can win some blog candy or get ideas for great Christmas gifts (whether they’re on your list or for someone else!).
So come on, what are you waiting for, get your crafting hat on, and get creating!
Here's my Christmas card
Its my old faithful ff disc being used again!
used quite a large image here, as I wanted a 6x6 card, then decided on an easel card - the paper, was a 12x12 sheet that I bravely cut into, and then added some card candy embellishments. The merry Christmas was a magazine freebie, and finally I finished off with some red stickles on the image to add a bit of bling.
As BLOG CANDY, I am offering some easel blanks, I will do a range of shapes for you, you can get some ideas from my side bar >>>>> over there >>>>>>
all you need to do is add a comment and become a follower of my blog to be in with a chance
heres a little card I made after seeing this shape in one of the magazines, all I did was take a 5x5 precut card, cut 2 ins of the right hand side and then used that piece to go along the middle width ways
I cut the word Baby out on SCAL and then printed the bouncing and boy off the pc
The papers I used are from one of the card making magazines (I have so many I can never remeber which, another note to self - write on the back!!!)
the button is a matching embellishment from the pack
today I have gone for something simple for the challenge at Daisy Doodles which this week is 'anything goes'
I have again used the mistletoe image (which you can find at the store) as everyone who saw my last one loved it, but have used glossy accents on the berries this time to make them stand out, but used sakura pens on the leaves again
I added some ribbon and spotty red paper from my stash!!
thats it, so very simple, I might add a sentiment to the top right corner, but not sure yet
we are being sponsored by pixie cottage, where you can find some great craft goodies
when I saw this paper from Daisy Doodles I had to find a reason to use it! not only are the colours brilliant, it actually has the look of actual material!! its so brilliant for this project
Our Boy is in Afghanistan at the moment and has taken some fab pictures, he asked me to do a scrapbook for him, which was a bit of a surprise, I have found some of his pics on FB already so will do this one as a surprise for him when he comes home for R&R in 3 weeks
the decoupage is something I bought and havent a clue why nor how I would use it, so has been in my stash for ages now!
All I need to add is the operation information to it
this is the new stamp I got at the NEC last sunday (well ok its one of the new stamps I bought)
so pretty I just used black stayzon ink and added the gems
the paper was a freebie from one of the craft magazines a while ago- I used stickles to glitz up the snowflakes and decorations on it, then added the sentiment (another freebie - different mag) and thats it!! thinhk I am becomming a lazy crafter!!!
