who loves the beatles

sgt pepper in particular..................

likes bright colours! heck think think think

thought thought thought til i could thunk no more!!

heres what I came up with

the image is pyramaged in a circle as I was thinking of a record (those big black round things before cds)

i cut the 50 and the beatles silhouettes on my cricut

then added them to an A4 red card, fastened to A4s together with brads

not sure if it sill needs something!!

think I need a holiday now

am going to use it for the challenge over at

trimmies craft challenges for milestone birthdays!! half a century wooo hooo

and for

corrosive challenges - for the guys

and dont forget my blog candy further on in my blog!!!!

thought I would go with a bit of bright colour today!!

aww how I long for a night out again! forgotten what it was like to get all glammed up and dance!

I used whiff of joy stamped image on this card, coloured with sakura pens apart from her flesh which is with pro markers, some freebie paper which was in my BIT BOX from a while ago

cut the doily, flower and leaves on the cricut and here we are

I have been having such fun with my cricut lately have decided to do some 'extras' for blog candy for those of you who follow my blog

I am considering starting selling different die cuts at some point so its a good opportunity for me to show things off, although will be doing something a bit different every so often - so keep an eye out for more

Green & Pink????

well I never would have put these 2 colours together but they actually do work

am not quite happy with the corners on this card, so might have to have a mess with them still

tilda is coloured with promarkers and sakura pens

the paper was on sale at hobby craft this week, its from doodlebug designs and so for once I wasnt too upset at cutting into a 12x12 sheet

the layout is from tuesday morning sketches

pennys challenge is to use pink and green and waas surprised the colours worked well together

daring card makers challenge is 'thinking of you' and this is to promote post pals which is a website that hopefully will help you to brighten a sick childs day!! go on and have a look!! they are being sponsored by ribbon girl and look there if you dare!! such beautiful things - do so at your own risk! I feel another spend comming on!!

mellow yellow

had to have a go at making a handbag card, have had a template for ages but never gotten around to using it yet - my time to craft challenge this week is handbags!!

so I printed this yellow spotty paper from pink petticoat (yet again something I have had ages and never used) and away I go, have added some diecut flowers and a pearl embellishment

then I decided as its for a book lover to make a nice big bookmark (creative inspirations challenge) with tilda 'in lemon'  (for the challenge at die cut dreams) and more flowers, I went for the lacy edge to fit in with the challenge at

Daisy Doodles challenge is yellow and cream/white so will use this for that too!!

I coloured Tilda with promarkers and used just 4 colours - ivory, lemon, canary and sunflower, I used sakura pens on her wings and hair

am also going to enter crafts and me challenge for pearls and petals

I just knew I would get asked to do some more of these lovlely door signs! have told Holly to ask the other girls in their shared house if they want me to make them one!! - I quite enjoyed doing something a bit different

the swap for August at the crafty salon chosen my Dolly is 'harvest festival' which really has made me struggle, couldnt think what on earth to do......

and the reason for the colours is for the 'lady gaga bad romance inspiration' challenge at crafty card makers blog

I added buttons and bows for incy wincy challenge

the flower was handmade using 8 die cut hearts 2 die cut circles and a button for the challenge at craft your passion challenge

ff merry christmas

decided that a bit of decoupage was in order today

so I went through left over stash from last year and found that I actually have loads and loads of Christmas decoupage and stamps so might be able to not buy any for this Christmas comming (but then again, I may NEED SOMETHING soon lol)

so the ff is decoupage, and the papers are again from the ffCD

I have actually just printed the sentiment off the laptop and then punched the circle and scallop around it

I have used the sketch from truly scrumptious blog and they also asked for brads, buttons and/or bows, so I used those sparkly brads (you cant tell they are sparkling from the picture unfortunately)

I used this Penny Johnson fishing bear stamped image and coloured the image and the background in my promarkers

Christmas again!!!

I have the new forever friends CD and decided not to buy more papers for a while (famous last works I know)

so decided to print off some of their paper for this card, so all the backing papers are from there

I coloured Tilda with promarkers and then added a few embellishments - and cut the snowflakes on the cricut

charisma cards wanted die cuts on their challenge so the snowflakes fit in well there

HELLLLP!!!! I have had to cut into 2 12x12 papers to make this card, wont sleep tonight now!!

scrummy cup cakes!

these cupcakes look good enough to eat!!

the theme this week over at OSAAT blog is  say it with shapes so the shapes I have used are

rectangle - the base card

circle the aperture

and of course cupcake (is that a shape???)

I just bought the new cupcake paper from our localish craft shop so decided I would print the digi cupcake onto 2 different coloured cards then decoupaged it, on back and front so when the cupcake does spin it doesnt matter which way it faces

the cupcake image (there are more in the set) are from the crafty pad which can be found over at stitchy bear and I did it creations crafting boutique

yesterday I made a boxed card with a jolly nation decoupage horsey lady

I was left over with bits of embellishments on the sheet so thought I would make a matching tag as well

I was asked if I could make a card for a friends daughter, whos 30 and 'horsey'

couldnt think what to do for it, so got out the jolly nation lady and horse,

thought I would have a go at a different shaped easel card today, so cut out the template and then used lots of leftovers to decorate it

OSAAT - CHALLENGE CARD - my first attempt

this is my first attempt at being on the DT at OSAAT blog

I used the backing papers from Floppy Latte over at Stitchy Bear & I Did It Creations Crafting Boutique

why not come and join in the challenge - its for 'pack a punch' so I used my flower punch, punched out of even more floppy latte paper - theres is so much you will find - elements, papers etc from floppy latte - go and look!!!!!

I was sent this backing paper in a swap and again havent a clue where its from unfortunately, its so stunning I havent been able to cut into it until now, so if anyone knows where I can get it again, I would be grateful

as it is so pretty - I felt the best thing was to use the paper as the image on the card and to add very little to it, so I added a sentiment, some ribbon and then an little bug charm

graduation card No 1

A friend has asked me to make her a graduation card so had a browse around at what kind of things were available and saw someone had made an invitation with a similar layout

I have never tried this fold before, and although it looked complicated to begin with, it is actually quite easy

I didnt put a message inside it yet, because if the lady doesn't like it - I will use it another time

I seem to go through phases of using my promarkers

I do love them, but not sure I have the technique right

I have had this backing paper for what feels like forever in my stash, think it was from a garden centre once upon a time, its beautiful texture and lovely thick card so havent been able to bring myself to cut into it before now

I followed a sketch from card patterns blog

using martha stewart border punch at the bottom and some pearly embellishments too

flowers made from handmade paper and a lovely bit of ribbon too

cup cake challenges wanted some lace, so that is why I added the lacey punched border, tried to use real lace on the card but it didnt work!

this had me a bit flummuxed!! had to make a card for someone who likes spinning!

had to do a bit of searching to find a pic of a spinning wheel (would have been easier had she done the cycling type)

heres my attempt at an exploding box, quite like it, think I made the lid too big on this, my other attempt was a too small lid!! hmm maybe 3rd time lucky!

I cut some daisys out on the cricut and used sooooo much card!!! flip, they were all 12x12 and I hate cutting those!

craftalicious challenge was to make your worn flowers, I did cut them on the cricut but added a brad and the middle one is layered! hope that is ok!
