crazy quilting

I had seen some ideas of crazy quilting and was dying to have a go, so when I saw a WI competition I thought I could encorporate some.  I have made a folio cover for our secretary.  I made a patchwork base using some squares I ordered off ebay a long time ago and added all kinds of things, including machine and hand stitching.

I am quite pleased with it but wish I had made the piece longer so it fitted the folder better

i stitched the 2 S's on some muslin, (our WI is called severn sisters)
